TURKEY AND PORTUGAL TOGETHER FOR CULTURE. 25 June and 25 July 2019. It was a unique event that took place at Casa dell Arte Lisbon. Turkish Painter Meray Akmut made her debut in our country with a superlative exhibition of Art in its pure state. The Casa dell’Arte Gallery in Lisbon was the host of the exhibition “Colo de Mãe” of Turkish painting Meray Akmut . The artist explores the similarities between Türkiye and Portugal, where she addresses the importance of women’s work in both cultures and the problem between tradition and progress. The tiles, present in both cultures, are an artistic detail that acts as a “bridge” between the two countries that are at the opposite end of Europe. An unmissable exhibition of superlative artistic elevation.
