TIMELINE

It all began in 2009, after FADUS SPECIAL EVENT co-organized  TAGISTANBUL, a huge Art & Tech event, unique in Europe where Istanbul was a real canvas and which brought together, some of the greatest Turkish painters, photographers and dancers.

In 2010, FADUS SPECIAL EVENTS  won the international contest for the Opening of the biggest mall in Europe : Forum Istanbul. João Pestana Dias, as FADUS SPECIAL EVENT Ceo, was then invited to lunch at the Embassy with Ambassador of Turkey H.E. Kaya Türkmen.

• João Pestana Dias visits an Art exhibition at the Turkish Embassy by invitation of the Ambassador of Turkey H.E. Ebru Barutçu Gökdenizler.

• THE TRADE CONNECTION” PORTUGUESE – TURKISH NETWORK is official received in audience by Ambassador of Turkey H.E. Ebru Barutçu Gökdenizler.

• João Pestana Dias, President of “THE TRADE CONNECTION” PORTUGUESE – TURKISH NETWORK was invited to visit a Turkish War Ship.

• Ambassador of Turkey H.E. Ebru Barutçu Gökdenizler is the guest speaker at the American Club of Lisbon at Sheraton.

• João Pestana Dias, President of “THE TRADE CONNECTION” PORTUGUESE – TURKISH NETWORK welcome Mr. Robert YUKSEL the Ceo of Yildirim Group. Yilport Holding has concluded the biggest Turkish investment ever in Portugal Yilport Holding Bought TERTIR for 335 Million Euros and Became the Owner of 10 New International Ports Yilport Holding, a subsidiary of Yildirim Group of Companies continues its global expansion with its latest acquisition of a Portuguese port management company TERTIR for a total of 335 million euros. YILPORT HOLDING of YILDIRIM GROUP in Turkey, reached an agreement with Portugal’s MOTA-ENGIL Group and NOVO BANCO to acquire 100% of the shares of the Portuguese port management company, TERTIR, and its portfolio of port terminals and forwarder / support services businesses located across Europe and Latin America.

• CELEBRATION of the 93th anniversary of the Turkish Republic. The Turkish Portuguese Network – TTC was present.

• THE TRADE CONNECTION” PORTUGUESE – TURKISH NETWORK received Fikret Orman the Presidente of Beşiktaş. The Turkish Football club, played the Champions League match at Estádio da Luz against Benfica. João Pestana Dias had the opportunity to held a dinner with Besiktas President and closer delegation, at Furnas do Guincho restaurant in Cascais.

• On the 10th April 2017 THE TRADE CONNECTION” PORTUGUESE – TURKISH NETWORK held a welcoming lunch in honor of new Ambassador of Turkey H.E. Mehmet Hasan Gogus. As a key note speaker H.E. Mehmet Hasan Gogus, addressed the theme : PORTUGAL AND TURKEY, AS STRATEGIC AND GLOBAL BUSINESS PARTNERS.

• João Pestana Dias the President of THE TRADE CONNECTION” PORTUGUESE – TURKISH NETWORK received the new Ambassador of Turkey H.E. Mehmet Hasan Gogus, as a member of the American Club of Lisbon.

• CELEBRATION of the 94th anniversary of the Turkish Republic. The Turkish Portuguese Network – TTC was present.

• Turkey wants to attract 30 billion foreign investment. The country wants to diversify the mix of investors and Portuguese companies are interested in business opportunities.

• Official Opening of Ahu Serter’s Casa del Arte-Lisbon.

• THE TRADE CONNECTION- Portuguese Turkish Network was invited for the BUSINESS FORUM PORTUGAL TURKEY with the presence of both Ministers of Foreigner Affairs.

• THE TRADE CONNECTION – PORTUGUESE – TURKISH NETWORK begin negotiations with Mr. Tansel TUGAL as Latam Coordinator representing ENKA & YILDIRIM HOLDING A.S.

• João Pestana Dias the President of THE TRADE CONNECTION” PORTUGUESE – TURKISH NETWORK at Monte Carlo ( Monaco ) with Ambassador of Portugal in Turkey H.E. Paula at the MONACO “Better World” Forum.

• CELEBRATION of the 95th anniversary of the Turkish Republic. The Turkish Portuguese Network – TTC was present.

•  THE TRADE CONNECTION- Portuguese Turkish Network was received by the new Ambassador of Turkey H.E. to Portugal Mrs Lale Ulker.

• Ambassador of Turkey H.E.Lale Ülker was the guest speaker at a lunch organized by “The Trade Connection – Portuguese and Turkish Network” (Portuguese Cooperation Association between Portugal and Turkey) which aims to develop economic and trade relations between Portugal and Turkey. Over lunch, the Ambassador spoke about Turkish economic progress and investment opportunities in Turkey.

•  THE TRADE CONNECTION- Portuguese Turkish Network  meets Bora YILMAZKURT from DS Damat.

• THE TRADE CONNECTION received the EGIAD and his President Mr. Mustafa ASALAN.

• TURKEY AND PORTUGAL TOGETHER FOR CULTURE. 25 June and 25 July 2019. It was a unique event that took place at Casa dell Arte Lisbon. Turkish Painter Meray Akmut made her debut in our country with a superlative exhibition of Art in its pure state. The Casa dell’Arte Gallery in Lisbon was the host of the exhibition “Colo de Mãe” of Turkish painting Meray Akmut . The artist explores the similarities between Turkey and Portugal, where she addresses the importance of women’s work in both cultures and the problem between tradition and progress. The tiles, present in both cultures, are an artistic detail that acts as a “bridge” between the two countries that are at the opposite end of Europe. An unmissable exhibition of superlative artistic elevation.

• THE TRADE CONNECTION received the Chamber of Commerce of Ankara / Ankara Ticaret Odasi and his President Mr. Gursel BARAN.

• “THE TRADE CONNECTION” PORTUGUESE TURKISH NETWORK, congratulates the Republic of Turkey on its 96th Anniversary. The celebration took place at the Turkish Embassy in Lisbon. A full house anniversary, attended by most of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Portugal, civil and military authorities. Portugal-France and representing the Portuguese Government, Mrs Berta Nunes, the Secretary of State of the Portuguese Communities.
