The Trade Connection – Portuguese Turkish Network was officially received by its president, João Pestana Dias, in a meeting with the new Ambassador of Türkiye to Portugal, His Excellency Murat Karagöz.
During the meeting, there was a clear willingness to deepen bilateral, economic, and cultural relations between the two countries, where The Trade Connection can play a fundamental role, especially in a year when the Republic of Türkiye celebrates its centenary on October 29th.
On October 29th, 1923, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk led the reestablishment of the Turkish nation. It marked the foundation of the Republic of Türkiye as a secular and modern state.
